We've been puppysitting martha for nearly 3 weeks now, she's going home on monday night. I've definitely gotten used to having her around - hopefully we'll get some pets someday!

Thought id pop a few photos up cause i found some puppy ones of her and i can't believe how tiny she was lol so heres some random black dog cuteness...

so fee dan and me went on our annual lights tour last night :)
it was awesome, we're all a bit tired at the moment, like everyone i guess! but we still had an awesome time and much yuletide tacky merriment was had by all! :)

well i havent done any blogging in SO LONG!!!

i blame having dial up internet - dont have whole days free anymore to do a post :P
also i blame not having too much excitement to post - UNTIL NOW!!!

for starters - its 29 SLEEPS til Christmas today!!!!
weeeeeeeeee *prances*

and we have our homeloan pre-approval wooooo which means that we basically have a guarantee that the bank will give us a certain amount, so now we can actually make offers and stuff when we find one we like!!
its completely terrifying lol but also very cool - i hate real estates so I'm so looking forward to being our own landlords - its worth the poorness!!

anyway thats a random waffle - i'm at dans work today and theyre very generously letting me use their broadband connection so this is the first time ive logged into my blog in yonks - and its still only got wedding stuff!
life does go on after the wedding.....hahaha its so the same as before the wedding only my brain gets a rest from organising!

now - off to do some christmas organising hahahaha 0_<

honeymoon pt 2!

we did a day trip up to mt tambourine the first weekend, here are a few random shots :)

man some of the houses up there are straight out of a fairy tale....well except for the powerlines, and backs of cars and such. but still!

i think dan's heart might have stopped in terror when we saw this shop.... >:)

couldn't resist it....

my favourite place on mt tambourine!!!

we decided to get ourselves a cuckoo clock as a wedding present to each other hehehe it doesnt run though cause its far too annoying - so its just ornamental lol

this old guy had an awesome pink suit!!

back at broadbeach now - this was on the one day of rain we had - we went to see the dark knight at the movies again lol

man we did so much while we were there - but if i go through each thing it will take ten years hehehe but we had an awesome restful and fun holiday weeeee!!!
we went to heaps of restaurants - you'll probably notice i get progressively chubbier in these photos hahahaha
the revolving restaurant was super romantic and lame and only made us feel a little bit sick hahaha but its awesome, and of course we went to the bavarian haus german restaurant a couple of times :)
plus many more!
and time zone and of course putt putt.....
hehehhehe sorry but too much to post all the photos!

anyhoo when we got home we discovered nev and al had left us a little surprise...

yes! i made a tacky sign for the car! :P

this is where we sayed - oceana on broadbeach room 94!
it so doesnt look very high in this photo but we were on like the 12th out of 15 floors!
mega luxurious - the whole 12th floor is divided into 2 flats and thats it!
ahh i seriously recommend this place!

this path went out to the little road just infront of the beach - convenient!

we headed to dreamworld on the first wednesday we were there - nev and al got us tickets for the tiger cub experience!

1, 2, 3 - AWWWW!!

ok i usually don't like the whole idea of training animals cause of how cruelly they get treated - but watching these guys with the tigers - man the tigers just love them, the little cubs came up and smooched their legs and stuff aww so cute!
they trust them heaps, cause when we were in the enclosure thing patting them and stuff this one woman got too close and scared one of the cubs, and the cub went and cuddled up to the handler lol aww

so then we bought ears!! lol

and ice cream!

this is possibly my favourite photo of the whole 2 weeks lol - i think maybe dan decided to do this after a previous lick pushed the ice cream off the cone hahaha good thing he can catch :D
OH speaking of funny ice cream incidents - we were walking back to our units one day and this dude had a huge gelati ice cream cone and yeah we were crossing the road in a group and he somehow lost his icecream and it splatted onto the traffic island ahahaha man that cracked me up enough but THEN he just scooped it back up and kept eating it!! haahahaha ew

ok so small things amuse small minds....probably had to be there it was one of those situations where you can't really laugh at the poor guy so you have to hold it in...so of course when you're free and clear to laugh its insanely funny... *nods*

Ok so these aren't the photographers snaps - there will no doubt be another blog post with his photos cause they'll be all edited and good angles and well much less depressing hahaha but heres a random selection anyways....

good thing the chapel was nice enough to put up with it :P

so i'm probably going to be in most of these - man I know the bride has to expect photos but geez i think that it gets a bit nuts...

Ok so I know almost all of my blog posts these days have been something wedding related but well....other than work thats basically all im doing these days lol!!

So we had the hens party on saturday night - in the afternoon me fee and mel went for a massage at beautiful beings at park road, milton - it was so nice!!!

then that night we headed to oshin japanese restaurant, and then to fat louie's for some karaoke....i didnt really get too many photos that werent blurry or just weird...so heres a random selection of snaps!!! lol

We got a new car!!!! wooooo I'm so excited - i have to drive around in it a bit with dan tonight so i can get used to driving an auto, and learn not to try and change gears while driving lol

sorry too much simpsons lately...

anyhoo we went to mt tamborine on the weekend, took some random photos and here they are!!!

hehehe in case you cant tell, i tried to get a bit arty with the tree shots....lol dont quit my day job hey.
but the trees were really beautiful, i love autumny wintery trees.

isaac hates photos lol, but likes making faces so it all evens out cause i love this photo :D

yup, i did spend most of the day taking nephew photos :P

we went on a glow worm cave tour!
werent allowed to take photos in there so heres the sign, and the next photo is the entrance! lol
isaac was very scared but managed to stick it out, just needed constant reassurance that "no theres no monsters" and "no the glow worms arent big, there tiny!!"
and heddies attempt at calming "look isaac its christmas lights!!" hahahaha it didnt work.
but he was ok by the end, and when we came out he proudly told us all that he "wasnt afraid, they were little!" :D

we had a picnic, and i put up my post it for the month - tamborine monster!

THEN! we went for a wander around all the touristy shops, full of your standard crafty things, and fudge shops etc. But the shop that i fell in love with was the Cuckoo Clock shop!!!

ok so i was totally in love with this ENTIRE shop lol, we decided that we'd go back for a day trip on our honeymoon since its close to the coast, and buy a cuckoo clock as a wedding pressie to each other :)
but not one of the huge serious ones, just a tacky little one with little wooden people and mushrooms and awww *face falls off at the cuteness*

Last night a bunch of us went to see Ross Noble - he's so hilarious and good times were had by all :)

AND Megan gave Dan and I this really really cool little skeleton couple - its so awesome!
